Community Guidelines

Meowdy matches you with people you don't know for real-time conversation. That only works, and only stays safe, if everyone follows the same basic rules. These Community Guidelines describe the conduct and content that is and is not allowed on the Service, and explain how we enforce them. They are part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. Violating these Guidelines is a violation of the Terms of Service and may result in content removal, warnings, temporary suspension, permanent ban, and - where the law requires or permits it - a report to law enforcement.

These Guidelines are operated by Futureaiit Consulting Private Limited, the company behind the Stranger Connect brand.

Meowdy is strictly for adults 18 and older. There is no exception to this rule.

You may not use the Service if you are under 18. You may not attempt to communicate with, solicit, groom, or seek out anyone you believe to be under 18. You may not create, request, share, or discuss child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, or any content that sexualizes a minor, whether real, simulated, animated, or described in text.

Any suspected violation of this rule results in an immediate, permanent ban and a report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), Indian law enforcement, and/or other appropriate authorities, together with any information we are legally permitted to disclose to assist an investigation. We do not issue warnings for this category of violation.

Do not send unsolicited sexual content, nudity, or sexually explicit material to another user. Do not engage another user in sexual conversation, photo, or video exchange without their clear, ongoing consent - and even with consent, both participants must be verified-adult in age and this remains subject to all other rules in these Guidelines (in particular, Section 2). Do not use the Service to produce, exchange, or promote non-consensual intimate content of any person.

Do not:

harass, bully, stalk, or repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop or has blocked you;
threaten violence or harm against any person or group;
use hate speech, or attack anyone on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or other protected characteristic;
encourage or promote self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders;
"dox" another user - share or threaten to share their real name, address, workplace, or other identifying information without consent;
record, screenshot, or redistribute another user's messages, photos, audio, or video without their consent, particularly to shame, blackmail, or harass them.

Do not use the Service to solicit money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, banking details, or other financial value from another user, including through romance scams, investment or trading schemes, or fake emergency appeals. Do not advertise products, services, other platforms, or "OnlyFans"-style content-selling accounts without our prior written permission. Do not attempt to direct users to another app or platform for the purpose of circumventing our safety tools or moderation.

Do not impersonate any person, including celebrities, public figures, or other users. Do not misrepresent your age, gender, location, or identity in a way intended to deceive or manipulate another user, or to circumvent matching filters (such as falsely presenting your gender to bypass another user's filter preference).

Do not use the Service to plan, facilitate, or promote any illegal activity, including the sale or distribution of illegal drugs or weapons, human trafficking, or any other conduct prohibited by the laws of India or the laws applicable to you.

Do not use bots, scripts, or other automated means to access the Service. Do not attempt to circumvent a ban by creating a new account. Do not attempt to disrupt matchmaking, exploit bugs, or interfere with other users' ability to use the Service. Do not attempt to access another user's account or our internal systems without authorization.

If another user violates these Guidelines, makes you uncomfortable, or you simply wish to stop interacting with them, you can block them at any time to prevent future matching and contact, and report them with a reason and, optionally, further detail. Reports are reviewed by our trust-and-safety process and may result in a warning, suspension, or permanent ban of the reported account, depending on severity. We do not disclose to a reported user the identity of the person who reported them.

For urgent safety concerns, or matters involving a minor or an immediate threat, contact us directly using the details in Section 10 of this page in addition to using the in-app report tool, and where there is immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

We may take any of the following actions, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, in response to a violation of these Guidelines: remove content; issue a warning; temporarily restrict access to certain features (such as matching, calling, or messaging); temporarily suspend an account; or permanently ban an account and any related accounts. Enforcement decisions take into account severity, intent, and history - but as described in Section 2 above, violations involving the exploitation of minors result in an immediate permanent ban with no warning, in every case.

We reserve the right to preserve and, where legally required or permitted, disclose account information, messages, and other records to law enforcement in connection with a suspected violation of these Guidelines or applicable law.
